Appeal for new Eucharistic Adorers

For the past 15 years, Parishioners have committed themselves to pray for one hour a week in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. We appeal for more people to give an hour to prayer each week. The many hundreds who do so already find the experience of solitude and rest a blessing.

Bishop Kieran Issues Pastoral Letter

On Tuesday 25th October, at a Priests’ Assembly gathering in the Clare Inn, Bishop Kieran O’Reilly SMA launched a Pastoral Letter entitled “That you may have life and Have it to the Full”.

This important pastoral is a reflection of Bishop’s Kieran’s first year among us, his observations of the Diocese and his vision for the future.

Ecumenical Gathering

On Sunday 16th October The Congregation of Christchurch Shannon hosted an Ecumenical gathering in the Cathedral of SS Peter & Paul Ennis to welcome Rev. Dr. Ian Henderson, the President of the Methodist Church in Ireland, to Co. Clare.
Fr. Tom represented the parish. Our thanks to Fr. Tom Hogan for the photographs.
