On the third weekend of Advent, Gaudete Sunday, the Parish of Liscannor under the leadership of their Parish Priest Fr. Denis Crosby, hosts their annual Festival of Cribs. On Saturday, Sunday and Monday 10th, 11th and 12th December from 10am until 6pm people from all over the county visit to see for themselves cribs from all over the world and live the story of the Christ child. This year the cribs include one in a loaf of bread and from the tiny to the larger type of structures. Our thanks to Fr Denis for this great Advent initiative.
