Members of Shannon’s Order of Malta on duty at the World Meeting of Families and the Papal Mass.  The Shannon unit had members on duty the full week of the World Meeting of Families and was the second largest unit in the Country in terms of members on duty at the Papal Mass. Members also provided first aid cover at the concert in Croagh Park and on the streets of Dublin for Pope Frances’ journey through the city. Along with special occasions like the visit of Pope Frances, they provide great assistance locally here in Shannon and are always on hand when needed.  We thank them for all their work, especially for being in attendance during the nine evenings of our Novena Novena, for their support, co-operation and assistance always.
