Following the Taoiseach’s announcement, the Bishop has decided to cancel all Confirmation Ceremonies from this evening (March 12th) onwards to at least the end of the Easter holidays.  Confirmations from Easter onwards to be reviewed in the coming weeks. Bishop suggests that all cancelled Confirmations be celebrated at Pentecost by local priest. Decision will be made on weekend Masses later this afternoon.

In addition, all First Communion Ceremonies in the parish will also be under review in the coming weeks and a decision communicated to everyone.

The office will remain open for Parish business and correspondence during this time of the coronavirus. Office hours are: Tuesdays & Wednesdays 9.30am – 12.30pm, 1.30pm – 5.30pm. Thursdays: 9am-1pm.

It’s important that the safety of us all comes first and we thank you for your understanding and support.

It might also be an opportune time to keep each other in our prayers. We have a lovely prayer posted on our website to protect us at this time. May God bless us and Our Lady protect us. Fr. Arnie.
