October collection for the Priests’ of the Parish will take place next weekend 6/7th October at all Masses. This is one of four collections during the year. Envelopes will be distributed during the week. We thank you for your support!

The Matt Talbot Novena for 9 Tuesdays during Autumn will be replaced by a 9-Day Novena in honour of the Holy Souls, which takes place in SS John & Paul Church from 1st to 9th November, including the normal Saturday evening Mass (6.30pm) and all Sunday Masses (9am, 10am, 11am & 12.15) Masses.

Every blessing to Pilgrims from the Parish & the Diocese who are travelling to Lourdes next Sunday October 7th on the Autumn Pilgrimage to Lourdes.

On Saturday October 13th at the 6.30pm Mass in SS John & Paul  Church, the Shannon Parish Folk Choir will celebrate their 40th anniversary. All past and present members of the Folk Choir are invited to this celebration. Further details from Deirdre McNelis on 086 8311641.

Confirmation Parent’s Meetings for St. Aidan’s, St. Tola’s & Gael Scoil Donncha Rua will take place on Tuesday evening 2nd October at 7.30pm in St. Aidan’s School. Leonard Cleary will address the meeting.
